Through an interdisciplinary approach, the program trains public health thought leaders and practitioners who seek to influence public health policy and practice, and organizational transformation in the US and worldwide.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>48 credits\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete in 36 months full time\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CEPH-accredited\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About this program&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The online DrPH program utilizes domestic and global health opportunities to prepare students for senior-level public health leadership roles. The program focuses on leadership and practice in the following areas:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Global health\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Environmental and occupational health\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health policy and management\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social and behavioral science\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prevention and community health\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exercise and nutrition\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biostatistics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Epidemiology\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 1997, the Milken Institute of Public Health has upheld one mission: to advance population health, wellbeing, and social justice around the world. This mission continues through the online DrPH program, which is designed to train the next generation of public health practitioners, thought leaders, and policy influencers without pressing pause on their careers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Curriculum overview&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The online DrPH program curriculum teaches leadership practice and theory through a balance of core courses, an in-person immersion, and practice experience.
