About this program
The online dual NM/WHNP program at the Berkley School of Nursing at Georgetown University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME). Through a blend of asynchronous learning, live class sessions, and in-person Objective Clinical Intensives (OCIs), the program prepares advanced practice registered nurses to provide:

Admissions and career outlook
To be eligible to apply for an online MS in Nursing program, you must:
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or CNL/entry-level MS in Nursing from a CCNE- or ACEN-accredited program
- Hold a current US registered nurse (RN) license
- Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.0 science GPA
- Have successfully completed a college-level three-credit course in statistics with a grade of C or higher
After completing the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) exam and the National Credentialing Corporation (NCC) to become certified as both nurse-midwives and women’s health nurse practitioners.
