Welcome to the Cognizant Skills Accelerator
Cognizant® Skills Accelerator is a direct pathway to employment for up to 2,000 interested US jobseekers, who after participating in the program, can apply for available roles at Cognizant. Participants who complete a series of online learning modules with high scores will be considered for a variety of in-demand roles (e.g. Java Developer, AI) across Cognizant.
Jobseekers accepted into the Cognizant Skills Accelerator will receive an edX subscription license sponsored by Cognizant, which will allow you to enroll in each of the five edX courses listed below at no cost to you.
Who Should Apply?
Education
Applicants with an Associate’s degree or higher in any academic discipline are encouraged to apply.
Experience
Industry experience in the tech sector is not required. Experience in healthcare, banking, financial services, or insurance are preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Applicants are analytical, driven and eager to start their personal journey into the tech sector.
Work Authorization
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Background Check
Candidates hired through Cognizant Skills Accelerator must successfully complete a background check.
Here's How it Works
Submit your application for the Cognizant Skills Accelerator. If you are already an edX learner, submit your application using the email address associated with your edX.org user account.
If you are accepted into the Cognizant Skills Accelerator, you will be assigned an edX subscription license -- keep an eye on your inbox for instructions!
Earn a certificate of achievement for each of the five edX courses listed below. You will be contacted by a Cognizant Skills Accelerator administrator about Java Development career opportunities.
